Toolraw™ (“we”, “us”) operates this manufacturing procurement platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal and business information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. It is intended to be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information we collect

Account & profile data: name, business/company name, email, phone, address, GST/PAN and role (buyer/supplier).
Business content: RFQs, engineering drawings and specifications, quotes, orders and messages you submit.
Supplier data: machines, materials, certifications, capacity and verification media.
Payment metadata: invoice records, amounts, GST and payment status. Card / UPI / bank details are handled directly by our payment gateway — we do not store your full card or banking details.
Usage & device data: log data, IP address and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the platform.

2. How we use it

To provide the service — matching RFQs to suppliers, processing quotes, awards, orders and invoices.
To operate the prepaid credit and billing system, and to issue tax invoices.
To verify suppliers and maintain trust and safety on the platform.
To communicate with you about your account, RFQs, orders and payments.
To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. When we share information

With matched suppliers/buyers: the information needed to fulfil an RFQ. For sealed-bid tooling RFQs, supplier identities are withheld from the buyer until the bidding window closes or the RFQ is awarded.
With our payment gateway: to process credit-pack payments securely.
With service providers: hosting, email and infrastructure partners under confidentiality obligations.
When required by law: to comply with legal process or protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Engineering drawings & confidentiality

Drawings and specifications are treated as confidential business content. They are shared only with suppliers matched to the relevant RFQ, for the purpose of quoting and fulfilment. Suppliers are expected to keep such content confidential and use it only for that purpose.

5. Data security & retention

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Passwords are stored hashed and are never visible to us or to administrators. We retain information for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to operate the platform. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@toolraw.com.
